Personality
Vee is a very social horse and definitely takes after her her father. Just like Solo, she loves to be a jokester and loves to play pranks on her groom. On the other hand, Vee is extremely demanding as well, a trait her mother is known for. She has opinions and expects everything to be done for her when she wants it done. That being said, that is where her social attitude comes into play. She isn't afraid of letting everyone know she has arrived, and you can often find her putting on a show for whoever is around her. Despite her socializing, Vee is actually a very spooky horse. If there is a pile of poo on the ground, you can guarantee Vee will jump six feet into the air over it. Sign on the wall? Spook. Lead-rope? Spook. Just like her father, the sheep-roll on her nose band and the blinkers on her face helps control the shadows around her so she is focused on her one duty on the track - to win.
Vee is a very competitive horse, which enables her to cruise along in the mid-pack area throughout the race. She isn't afraid of a little bumping or rubbing. It's almost like she forgets she is afraid of shadows for the short period she is on the track and focuses her energy on better things. After she breaks, she will settle in around third or fourth up until the third furlong, where she will start to cut her way through the clump of horses in front of her. One thing about Vee is that she is not afraid of bulldozing through a pack of horses to get what she wants. Her jockey has to watch out that they don't get disqualified for rubbing and bulldozing, so if they can they have to lead her either to the rail or to the outside. Either one works for Vee, and that's where she really gets into the turf and drives forward straight to the lead.
